I started this series by reading the fifth, but I’ll be back tracking to read the others.
Let me start this review by saying I don’t re-read books. In most cases, I read them once and that’s it. In extremely rare instances, I go back and read some books over. I’ve already read this one twice. I expect to read it a lot more.
I never in a million years thought I’d be interested in a ménage with two men, much less three. Sure, another woman appealed to me, but never more than one man. Oh. My. God. How wrong I was. If I wasn’t happily married, I might be out looking for my very own Law, Dominic, and Riley. Hell, who am I kidding? I would be.
Let me backtrack and tell you the plot. Kinley Kohl is about to marry a guy she doesn’t love so she can bail her family out of its financial troubles. Turns out, her future husband’s former wife – who supposedly killed herself – has a ticked off brother who believes Kinley’s future husband murdered his sister. You following me so far? So, he and his two friends kidnap Kinley to try to gather intel on the future hubby and to save Kinley from what they fear is certain death on her honeymoon.
When they delve deeper, they discover that Kinley’s sister and father are in on the scam with the future hubby and she’s feeling a little unloved. Not a problem, because Law, Dom, and Riley are falling madly in love with her. And it doesn’t take long for her to feel the same way. The plot then has some twists and turns and a little intrigue and mystery.
The sex scenes absolutely sizzle, if you like dom/sub and ménage. Law is beyond sexy. So far beyond sexy, I can’t stand it. Dom makes my heart flutter. Riley is brooding and hot.
This book also has a lot more plot than a lot of other erotica that I read. Loved that about it.
There were times, especially in the beginning, when I found Kinley to be a little annoying. But, hell, maybe that was because I wanted to take her place half the time. Could be jealousy rearing its ugly green head.
Bottom line: I highly recommend if it’s a category of book you like. I would absolutely read again and have already bought more from this author.
